Exquisite Bride had a wonderful time in New York for Bridal Fashion Week. It is always exciting to see what all of the designers have to offer for the new season. And let us say, we were not disappointed! Here are a few of our favorites from this past week:
Celebrating 15 years and continues to surprise and elevate his look of bridal style. We were so happy to see Judd in New York and view his Spring 2016 collection. Some of our favorites included Jasmine, Collier and Hope which was a beautiful feminine ballgown with a lovely off-the-shoulder neckline with lace straps and exuded a romantic elegance which we come to expect from Judd as his signature style.
Never disappointing and always classic with a touch of whimsy this season. Visiting with Lea-Ann and her lovely model Pearl and representative Karen is always a pleasant retreat for us during the hectic bridal fashion week.
Always a perfect experience at the stunning Romona Keveza. We were fortunate to hear personally from Romona on her inspiration for this collection which was the “secret garden” that once existed at Rockefeller Center in NY. The Legends bridal collection showed a bit of surprise with a daring expression from the designer which was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us showing a more embellished look for the Legends line with some deeper necklines and lower backs. The Luxe Collection left us speechless. Romona’s choice to play with color, again taking inspiration from the gardens that once were, bringing us a delight of vibrant florals and silk Jacquard organzas.
As expected during Bridal Fashion Week in New York, we continue to see over the top designs with extreme styling and while this may be well suited for editorial pages to showcase designer’s artistic aesthetics, our brides remain classic, sophisticated and true to themselves. We choose designers based on our client’s preference and Romona, Judd and Lea-Ann Belter along with the up and coming sensation of Isabelle Armstrong. These designers provide exactly what our brides are looking for.
